Reporting on Design is hard — here is how you can make it happen
It’s understandable that reporting design work can be challenging, but it’s essential for any successful design operation. Unfortunately, many design projects go unreported, which can make it difficult to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate design’s impact on business objectives.
In our experience working with multiple users and customers, we have found it to be beneficial to report design activities and performance using three broad categories:
- Design reporting for business
- Performance Report
- Financial Report
By utilizing the different types of reports, you can gain valuable insights that can ultimately lead to optimized designs and improved outcomes. Each report serves a unique purpose and contributes to a better understanding of the impact of design on business objectives.
